This week can’t be over quickly enough. My work schedule is
not cooperating with my school schedule and the amount of work I have due in a
couple of days is ridiculous. *sigh* Why can’t senior year be done and over
with now? In other news, so far Beloved doesn't seem to be so great. I’m pretty bored with it as of now and it’s a
little on the strange side. The odd mix of fantasy and realism is strange,
something I've never encountered before in a reading. There are times that I feel
like maybe there are just periodic earthquakes until the tables go flying at
them. Then my opinion changes and I’m not quite sure what to think. The names
of the characters (with the exception with a couple) are really odd and it
makes the story kind of confusing at times. I’m seriously hoping that this
novel starts getting a little more intriguing to me. If not, this is going to
be a rough few weeks. The same goes for my second independent reading book. The
summary made it seem interesting but the summary on my 1st book was
too. And no, just no. Well, instead of
blabbering on about nonsense I should probably start working on my reading
journals for this week. That’s all folks. :)“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” -Dr. Seuss
